This system uses a flexible heat-sensitive polymer detection tube, routed inside the rack. The tube acts as both a fire detector and discharge line. When exposed to heat or flame, the tube bursts at the hottest spot and instantly releases the extinguishing agent (Clean Agent FK-5-1-12, Novec 1230, or FM-200) directly onto the fire.
