About Tubing Suppression System

Tubing Suppression System is an automatic tube based fire detection and suppression system designed to provide rapid fire protection for electrical panels, electrical cabinets, control panels, switchgear, UPS cabinets, battery cabinets, server racks, CNC machines, generators, compressors and other enclosed high risk equipment. The system uses a flexible heat sensitive fire detection tube to continuously monitor the protected equipment and activate the suppression system when excessive heat or flame is detected.

The compact Tubing Fire Suppression System combines automatic fire detection and suppression in one equipment-level solution. Depending on the selected configuration, the system can be designed as a Direct Release Tubing System or Indirect Release Tubing System.

Direct Release System: The heat sensitive detection tube is installed close to potential ignition sources. When the tube reaches its specified activation temperature, it opens at the heated location and, according to the system design, provides the discharge path for the extinguishing agent.

Indirect Release System: The detection tube senses excessive heat and activates the release mechanism, while the extinguishing agent is discharged through separate fire suppression nozzles positioned inside the protected enclosure.
