To mitigate the risk FET has successful installed and suppressed fires in CNC machines for over 25 years, saving machine shops and CNC operators from the effects of fires.

Our systems are recognised by major insurance underwriters and supported by a comprehensive fire risk assessment before installation. Our CNC EDM fire protection system is suitable to be fitted to all CNC machines including high precision machines and swiss type lathes.

The FIREFINDER CNC machine fire suppression system uses our proprietary detection tubing, which once installed in the protected area will detect a fire inside the CNC Mills. Once the fire is detected, our patented automatic pneumatic value operates, causing the extinguishing agent to be released into the CNC Milling machines to extinguish the fire.

Additional options such as pressure switches and indication panels alert the CNC operator to flash fire. These are often connected to central building alarm panels and other communication platforms.

The electric actuator, piezo alarm, horn / strobe, and maintenance disable switch are prewired to the agent releasing control panel allowing for minimal remote devices to be wired.
